What is Sūtikā?
Sūtikā is a postnatal ritual of care grounded in Ayurveda, offered through a series of in-home sessions.
It supports the body in the weeks and months after birth - through warmth, touch, rest, and space to soften - allowing recovery to unfold gently and in its own time.
Do I need to have just given birth?
Sūtikā is designed for the postpartum period, however planning for your care ahead of birth is recommend to ensure my availability. I usually suggest to reach out around week 30 of your pregnancy so we can chat and prepare the best support for you once your little one is earthside.
Is this for me?
This space is for you if you are:
-
pregnant and preparing for your post natal season
-
feeling tender, open, or overwhelmed by change
-
seeking grounded, non-performative support
-
wanting care that honours both body and nervous system
-
longing for rest that feels deeply held, not rushed
You do not need to be “back to yourself” to begin. You only need to be here.
What happens during a session?
Each session unfolds gently, guided by what is needed on the day.
This may include warm oil massage, time to rest, and space to soften.
There is always room to pause - to feed your baby, tend to your body, or simply take things slowly.
What if my baby needs me during the session?
Your baby is always welcome within the space.
Sessions are designed to be flexible - if you need to pause to feed, settle, or tend to your baby, we move with that rhythm.
Nothing is disrupted. Everything is included.
Do I need to prepare anything?
Very little is required.
I bring what is needed for your session, including the treatment table and oils.
If possible, having a quiet space available can be helpful - though care adapts to your home as it is.
Where do sessions take place?
All sessions are offered in your home, so you can remain in a familiar and supported environment.
How long is each session?
Sessions include 90 minutes of hands-on care, with space held for up to 2 hours to allow for rest, pauses, and integration.
How is Sūtikā structured?
Sūtikā is offered as a series of five sessions, creating a gentle container of ongoing care.
Each session meets you where you are, rather than following a fixed progression.
What is the investment?
The five-session Sūtikā offering is $1,500
Payment plans are available, and sessions can also be gifted - often shared among loved ones as part of postpartum support.
